Introduction

Home-made mexican tacos!!! Home-made mexican tacos!!!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    4 Boneless, skinless Chicken Breast
1 lg. can of Tomato Sauce

    Olive Oil
    Corn Tortillas approx: 24 medium

    Seasonings (Mostly to taste)
About ... 1 tsp of each:

    Garlic Powder
    Chili Powder
Onion Powder (or fresh onions chopped)

    Seasoning Salt approx: 1 tbsp.

Directions

1.) In Lg. Pan Boil Chicken until cooked.

2.) Strain water and Shred chicken.

3.) a. Pre-Heat pan with Olive Oil
b. Return Chicken to pan used for boiling.

4.) Add to chicken ... tomatoe sauce, onions if fresh, and all seasonings.

5.) Then stuff chicken into corn tortillas and fry. You're going to be stuffing about two - three tbsp. of meat in your shell.

6.) Fry in Olive oil, browning shell to crisp

7.) I keep a pan with paper towel to the side to then sit the tacos as I prepare the rest.

Hint: To avoid the shells from cracking or ripping apart and losing your meat in the oil take about four to five of them at a time and heat them in the microwave for about 30 sec. this will make them soft and flexible.

Add lettuce, cheese, hot sauce what ever or even eat plain. These things taste great!!

You may even end up with extra chicken depending on size etc. It's great for nachos or salad.
