Ingredients

    6 cups rough chopped cabbage
    1/2 cup butter
    1 pound ground venison (or ground beef)
    1 cup rough chopped onion
    2 large eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 cup white rice, cooked
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (28 oz) or 2 (14 oz) cans diced tomatoes
    Any flavor

Directions

1) Chop cabbage and spead in either a 9" x 13" baking dish or 2 8" x 8" baking dishes. (divid all steps eqaully between pans if using 2 )
2) dot with 1/2 cup butter
3) mix ground meat, rice, onion, eggs and salt and pepper to taste. spead meat mixture over cabbage.
4) pour diced tomatoes over meat mixture

bake in a 350 degree per heated oven, covered for 60 minutes, then uncovered for 60 minutes more.
