Introduction

These are great little snacks that pack protein without the fat and sugar of most protein bars out there. Great for those days I don't have time to eat breakfast! Ingredients

1 cup, PB2 (Powdered Peanut Butter)
    1.5 cups old fashioned oats
    1 tbs canola oil
0.5 cups soy milk (or other milk)
    2 cups vanilla protein powder
    0.25 cups chopped almonds
    0.5 cups water

Tips

(Optional)
- Toast oats/almonds in oven at 350 for 10-15 minutes before combining with other ingredients
- Cut into 6 or 8 bars for a meal replacement

- I've heard you can use peanut flour in place of PB2, but haven't tried it yet

Directions

- Combine PB2 with soy milk, oil, and water then stir
- Microwave for 20-30 seconds
- Combine wet ingredients into a larger bowl with oats and protein powder
- Combine until mostly incorporated together (add water a little at a time as needed)
- Spray an 8x8 pan with oil or line with foil
- Press mixture into pan and refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting into 12 snack size bars
