Ingredients

    Bundle of asparagus
    One frozen puff pastry square
    1 cup gruyere cheese
    1tsp salt
    1tsp pepper

Tips

Smoked cheese also adds a nice hint of BBQ flavor to the dish.


Directions

Thaw puff pasty square. Cut slits into the pasty to avoid too much puff. Bake for 10mins. Shred gruyere cheese on top of hot pastry dough, place salt, pepper, and asparagus on top. Bake for another 10mins. Cut and serve.
