Introduction

Easy recipe where you can use whatever cheese you have on hand. This just happens to be what I had in my fridge. Easy recipe where you can use whatever cheese you have on hand. This just happens to be what I had in my fridge.

Ingredients

    2 cups shredded gouda cheese
    1.5 cups half and half
    4 eggs
    4 slices bacon
    1 small onion diced
    1/3 red pepper diced
    fresh or dried basil to taste
    dash of nutmeg
    salt and pepper to taste

Tips

You can just about anything you want to this recipe. (examples: cooked chicken breast; black olives; tomato... whatever you have handy in the fridge. Good for any meal.


Directions

Cut and saute bacon, diced onion, red pepper and basil until tender; whisk together half and half, eggs salt, pepper and nutmeg. Spray pie dish with non-stick spray; put in all ingredients; Bake at 375 for approximately 30 minutes.
