Ingredients

    onion, garlic, carrots, bay leaf, parsley, sausage, tomatoes, caldo de gallina, water, heirloom tomatoes, lentils

Tips

Potatoes could also be added to this recipe.


Directions

Saute veggies in olive oil. Add herbs and a dash of salt. Add sausage, cut into small pieces. Saute. Add heirloom tomatoes, caldo de gallina and water and cook down. Add lentils and cook for 40-60 minutes. Season to taste.

Serving Size: 1/4 of the whole soup...approx. 2 C
