Ingredients

    Rice flour - 100gm
    Rice Semolina or rava - 50gm
    Grated coconut - 80gm
    Salt - to taste

Tips

It can be served with lentil curry/chicken curry.

Rava(semolina) is optional.can be made completely from rice flour.


Directions

mix the rice flour, rive rava (semolina) and half the grated coconut and pinch of salt. by adding small quantities of water mix the ingredients to get a mixture of small lumps. steam cook it either in a 'puttu kutti' which rbings the cylindrical shape or directly by placing the mixture on a plate in a cokker for about 10minutes.
