Ingredients

    1/2 cup fat free Greek yogurt
    1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
    2 TBS ground flax seed (golden flax meal)
    1/2 cup almond milk
    1 TBS honey

Tips

this recipe is very flexible. The fruit can be changed to bananas, other berries, peaches, either fresh or frozen or what is in season. The almond milk can be changed to soy, cow's milk, coconut milk.


Directions

In a blender, blend all ingredients by pulsing for 10 seconds. Add 4-5 ice cubes, replace the cover and blend on high until ice is crushed fine. If smoothie is too think, add a little more almond milk.
