Introduction

Black Bean Black Bean
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    16oz Can Black beans (rinsed and dried)
    ½ green or red pepper, Onion
    3 garlic cloves
    2 Egg whites
    1 Tbs Chili powder
    ½ tbs Cumin
    ½ tsp cayenne
    1 C. oats
    ½ C Mushroom
    ½ Corn
    Salt & pepper to taste

Tips

If the mix is too loose for you add more oats or bread crumb. You can tweek this recipe to your own preference.


Directions

Mash beans coarsely then finely chop the pepper, onion and garlic. You can also use a food processor. Be sure to soak off extra moisture. Chop the mushrooms and add all other ingredients except the egg white. Taste the mixture to be sure its the flavor you desire. Then Add the egg white.

You can freeze these into patties then grill or bake in the oven with a little oil or cooking spray.
Cook 5 min on each side.
