Ingredients

    Lentils - 1 cup
    Onion - 1 tbsp chopped
    Green Chillies -1/2 tbsp chopped
    Garlic - 2 gloves chopped
    Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
    salt to taste
    milk 1% - 3-4 tbsp
    water - 2-2/12 cups

Tips

add more water / milk if you desire more watery lentils.

** You can opt out of chillies if you want.


Directions

1. Wash the lentils and add about 2 cups of water, chopped onion, green chillies, garlic, turmeric powder and salt to taste.

2. Let it cook on stove top in medium heat for about 10-12 minutes

3. Add about 2-3 tea spoon of milk once throughly cooked

4. Turn off the stove and serve with bread.
