Introduction
This is my favorite stir fry ever! As a vegetarian dish it's great, but you can also add chicken or shrimp to give it some more body if you're really hungry. This is my favorite stir fry ever! Ingredients
-
2 largecarrots; sliced
2 stalksCelery; sliced into matchsticks
0.5 Red Bell Pepper; sliced into matchsticks
0.5 Yellow Bell Pepper; sliced into matchsticks
0.5 Green Bell Pepper; sliced into matchsticks
1 cloveGarlic; chopped
300 gramsBean Sprouts
2 tablespoonsVegetable oil
2 tablespoonsSesame Oil
1 tablespoonDark Soy Sauce
3 tablespoonsOyster Sauce
0.5 cupSesame Seeds; toasted
Directions
Although you can just simply slice the veg, it adds a HUGE level of visual appeal by slicing them into matchsticks. It's just an option though, you can slice them any way you like. Anywho, spread the sesame seeds on a baking pan, and toast in the oven under broil until toasted. Heat a wok until very hot and add the vegetable and sesame oil. Add the garlic and carrots and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
Toss in your peppers and stir-fry for another 30 seconds . Then add the celery and bean sprouts, and stir-fry for another 30 seconds. Remove from heat and sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!!!
