Introduction

Found this on Food.com, but cut the amounts in half, as the first time I made it, it overflowed my breadmaker. I also replaced half of the white flour the original recipe called for with whole wheat flour. This made a really good sandwich bread. I made it last night and took it to work today. Ingredients

    1/2 cup very warm water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 cup mashed cook sweet potato
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. butter, softened
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. yeast
    1 Tbsp. powdered milk

Directions

Add ingredients to the breadmaker pan in the order listed. Set machine for 2 pound loaf, white bread, light crust.

Serving Size: Makes 12 servings (1 slice per serving)
