Ingredients

12 oz box of your favorite pasta ( I like rotini or bowtie for this recipe)
1 28oz can of crushed tomato
1 14.5 oz can of diced tomato
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp crushed red pepper
2 tsp italian herbs
salt and pepper to taste
5 cups of chicken broth
2 tbsp olive oil
Tips
you can add onion, mushroons, zucchini-whatever you like to this dish, it's very versatile.
I don't advise using spaghetti because it tends to stick to the bottom of the pot inspite of stirring.
Directions
Place all ingredients into a large stock pot.
Cover and bring to a boil.
once it starts to boil reduce heat to low and let it simmer covered for about 10 to 12 minutes.
Stir every 2 minutes to prevent sticking.
Serving Size: makes 6 - 1 cup servings
