Ingredients

One fresh peach (the softer the better) with skin, washed and cut into small pieces

One half banana, peeled, and sliced or chunked

One teaspoon of white granulated sugar OR you may substitute sweetener if desired, which will omit 45 calories from total recipe

    One cup apple juice unsweetened

Tips

Depending on your freezer, you may want to leave them in the freezer for a shorter time. If they freeze harder than you want, then take them out of the freezer, place on kitchen counter and allow to thaw out for about five minutes. Then slush with a spoon. A wonderful idea for a group of children at a party! Could also be frozen in one large container, then partly thawed, stirred, and then transferred to small bowls to serve.

Directions

Place all engredients in blender. Blend 10 to 14 seconds. Pour into small freezer appropriate containers with lids, either two one cup units or four 1/2 cup units. Snap on lids. Place in freezer for about 30 minutes. Take out and break up with a spoon and stir. Then eat! Delicious, cool, tasty, nutritious, refreshing and filling!
