Ingredients

Barilla- 1 pkg (13.25oz) Whole Grain Spaghetti or you can use Dream Fields Carb friendly pasta
Turkey Bacon- Oscar Meyer- 4 slices
1lb of Lean Ground Turkey (Shady Brook or other brand)
1 8 oz pkg of fresh sliced mushroom
1 small yellow onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped or minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of Light whipping cream or alternative
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 cup of grated parmesan
McCormick's Italian Seasoning to taste
Directions
1. Cook and drain pasta according to directions on the package. Rinse, return to pot, and keep warm.
2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crisp. Crumble bacon as best as possible. In same pan, cook ground turkey, onions, garlic and mushrooms until ground turkey is completely cooked. Season with salt and pepper and/or Italian seasoning.
3. Pour cream onto pasta and cook on medium-high heat for 2 minutes stirring so pasta doesn't stick to pan. Add turkey mixture to pasta and fold in egg and bacon. Lower heat to medium and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes, tossing constantly so pasta does not stick.
4. Stir in cheese and allow it to melt for an additional minute and serve.
