Ingredients
-
4 - 4 ounce Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless)
1/2 cup Milk
2 egg whites, beaten
1 1/2 cups Corn Flakes
1 tbsp. Poultry Seasoning
1 lemon, squeezed
1 tbsp. thyme
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Tips
You can also chop up the chicken and make nuggets. My kiddos love it!
Directions
Mix together in a large bowl milk, lemon juice, poultry seasoning, onion powder, thyme, salt & pepper.
Place chicken breasts in mixture and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Put cornflakes in a zip top bag and smash until bread crumb consistency.
After the chicken has soaked for a bit, drain the liquid.
Pour beaten egg whites over the chicken and mix up until all chicken is coated.
Put chicken breasts in cornflake mixture bag, one at a time and shake until well coated.
Place on cookie sheet covered with parchment paper (keeps chicken from sticking without the use of oil). If you don't have any on hand just use cooking spray.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
