Introduction

Created this Dash Friendly soup so I could get a lot of veggies in. VERY low sodium. Created this Dash Friendly soup so I could get a lot of veggies in. VERY low sodium.

Ingredients

    1 lb pkg. of 93% Lean ground turkey from W-Mart (Harvestland brand)
    V8 Low Sodium Original
    Carrots and Celery
    Okra and Broccoli
    Summer Squash and Zucchini
    Canned tomatoes (14.5 oz) Red Gold brand (I used)
    Pinto beans (I cooked these fresh with no salt added)
    Garlic Powder and Onion Powder
    Lots of Mrs. Dash seasonings, I like the spicy ones
    Water

Directions

Brown your Ground Turkey. Rinse if you want but there is no visible fat. Add 4 cups water, carrots, celery, okra, canned tomatoes, and pinto beans and all seasonings. I added the broccoli and squashes after the other cooked about 3o mins. I didn't want it mushy.

Serving Size: Makes 13 (1 cup) servings
