Introduction

I have a fruit smoothie for breakfast and was looking for something to have a lunch time. Initially I was going to add greek yogurt, but, I read that dairy inhibits the absorption of iron. SO, I went with green tea for more liquid and added some black beans for additional protein. I have a fruit smoothie for breakfast and was looking for something to have a lunch time. Ingredients

    .5 small banana
    1 gala apple
    2 c. chopped kale
    1/2 c black beans
    1T fresh mint
    cinnamon powder
    cayenne pepper
    1 celery stalk
    2T Lemon juice
    Ice
    1/2 c brewed green tea

Directions

Blend all ingredients adding more green tea if needed. If too runny, add more ice.
