Ingredients

    2c Quick Oats
    1-1/2 to 2c Rice Krispies
    1/2c raisins, packed

    3/4c peanut butter
    1/2c honey
    1/4c brown sugar, packed

    1/2t vanilla extract

Tips

Add-ins might be chocolate or peanut butter chips, nuts, sunflower seeds, etc. Count the calories!

Try substituting Cocoa Krispies!


Directions

Line a loaf pan with foil or parchment paper to leave 2" overlap for lifting from pan.

Mix cereals and raisins or other mix-ins, if using

In a separate microwavable bowl,mix peanut butter, honey and brown sugar. Heat on high for 1 minutes and stir. Heat one more minute and whisk in the vanilla.

Pack into the prepared pan and chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Lift out of pan onto a cutting board using the foil over hang. Slice into bars and wrap individually for an on-the-go meal replacement or lunch box treats.

Serving Size: Makes 15 bars

    It is habit-forming! Thankfully, these are going to Eastern Oregon on a hunting trip tomorrow and are already packed away and locked in the trailer for dh and his brothers! I made a 2nd batch with Cocoa Crispies and mini chocolate chip mix-in.
