Introduction

I used thin spaghetti in this one with some parmesan and egg in the mixing sauce to make it more like a lasagna casserole. This Everyday Pan is easy to work with. Ingredients

    -1 lb extra lean ground been
    -1 C finely diced onion, I use white
    -1 Clove of fresh garlic, minced
    -1 T Italian seasoning
    -salt and pepper to taste

    -28 oz jarred spaghetti sauce
    -12 oz noodles of choice, I used thin spaghetti, this time,I like Ronzoni Smart Balance
    -2 1/2 C water

    -1/2 C ricotta cheese, I used Aldi brand
    -1/3 C evaporated fat free milk
    -1 large egg
    -1 T Italian seasoning
    -1/2 C reduced fat mozzarella cheese
    -2 T canned parmesan cheese

    -1/2 C reduced fat mozzarella cheese, for topping

Directions

---Heat the Everyday Pan over med. heat for 3 - 5 minutes and then add your meat and begin cooking. Drain the fat. Add onions, Italian seasoning, salt/pepper and garlic, stir and cook another 30 seconds.

---Add sauce and water, stir and then add the noodles, stirring as you go so they don't stick together. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Then cover and SIMMER for 15-20 min. over low heat.

---Remove from heat and stir in the ricotta, milk, egg seasoning and cheese mix. Return to heat and cook covered for 5 more min..

---Remove from heat, remove lid, top with remaining 1/2 C mozzarella cheese and put under broiler until bubbly.

---Makes 8 large servings.

---Enjoy!!
