Ingredients
-
1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
2 tbsp Mirin
1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
1 tsp Chili Garlic Paste
1.5 tsp Corn Starch
1/2 block firm or medium tofu, cut into small cubes
4-5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 head of Napa cabbage shredded (approx 6 cups)
1 cup frozen green beans
2 tbsp Canola Oil
Tips
Serve in bowls with rice (not included in nutritional value)
Directions
Whisk Rice Vinegar, Mirin, Dark Soy Sauce, Chili Paste and Corn Starch in a small bowl. Set aside.
Prep tofu, garlic, and Napa Cabbage
Heat oil in wok to medium. Add garlic. Before the Garlic picks up much color, add tofu, stir. Add greens, stirring regularly. If it starts to burn, add 1/4 cup water (I was using wilted and frozen Napa from last summer's CSA and there was enough fluid in the cabbage to keep things from burning) and green beans.
After the cabbage is wilted, whisk the sauce and add to the pot, being sure to get all of the corn starch.
Simmer 2 - 5 minutes until sauce starts to thicken.
