Introduction

Just something yummy I threw together! Just something yummy I threw together!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb beef stew meat

    seasoned salt

    dried crushed bay leaves

    2 cups water

2 cups raw grated carrots (about 4 regular size)

2 containers (17.6 oz) Market Pantry Homestyle Lentil Ready-To-Serve-Soup (found at Target)

Tips

In the future I may try adding some pearled barley while the stew cooks, or perhaps some diced potatoes or other vegetables.

Directions

Place stew meat in slow cooker and season to preference with seasoned salt and dried bay leaves. Pour 2 cups water over meat and cook on high for 3 hours. Remove meat with a slotted spoon and add the carrots to the broth. Shred the meat and return it to the slow cooker with the carrots and broth and stir. Cook an additional 3 hours.

During the last hour of cooking add the Lentil soup. Enjoy!
