Introduction
Hey :) I'm fasting, so I came up with this recipe to shake things up! It's also a great fix for all you vegans out there ;) Hey :) I'm fasting, so I came up with this recipe to shake things up! It's also a great fix for all you vegans out there ;)Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
2 fresh apples with skin (I've only tried red, but I'm sure green would taste great, too!)
2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 225 degrees F
2)Use a mandoline to slice up the apples. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
3) Place apple slices on sheet, taking care to not overlap them.
4) Sprinkle cinnamon over apples until all are evenly coated. Place Sheet in oven and set timer for 1 hour.
5) Once timer is done, slide the apples out and flip them. A fork will work, but it takes forever, so your hands are also very useful here ;)
6) Place apples back in oven and set timer for yet another hour. After the timer's done, let it sit in the oven for another ten minutes. I know, the house smells like apple pie and your stomach is growling and they look SO good. But you have to wait..this is one they start to crunch up and become AWESOME
7) Take apple chips out, throw in a bowl, and eat to your heart's content!
Serving Size: 1 1/2 cups chips
