Ingredients

    1 1/2 C sugar
    1/2 C vegetable oil
    3 oz 0% Chobani Plain
    3 large eggs
    2C flour (AP)
    2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 tsp salt
    3 C chopped apples (approx. 3 apples)

Tips

Altered from original Betty Crocker recipe. Orig used 1 cup oil, 1 cup nuts (no specific type mentioned) had no yogurt or ginger. Called for either caramel or cream cheese frosting (depending on edition)


Directions

oven @ 350F. Grease and flour a 13x9 inch pan.
Beat together the sugar, oil, eggs and yogurt. then add everything else except the apples. Beat another minute. (use the handheld mixer) stir in apples. Pour/spread in pan. Bake 40-45 minutes. Cool completely on rack.

Serving Size: makes 15 3 inch pieces (or close enough)
