Ingredients

    4 ruby red grapefruits, halved, seeded and sectioned
    4 teaspoons cane sugar
    4 teaspoons cinnamon
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Tips

Drizzle with a bit of honey for extra sweetness.


Directions

1. Pre-heat your grill to medium-high heat
2. Mix together vanilla extract, sugar and cinnamon. Brush the mixture on each grapefruit half.
3. Place grapefruit face-down on the grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly charred and fragrant.

    I didn't follow the recipe exactly. I didn't measure the ingredients. I just winged it; vanilla, cinnamon sugar, plus I added maple syrup. I followed the tip of drizzling honey on top when it was done. Delicious! - 6/1/14
