Introduction

This is one of my favorite, low-carb quiche recipes. This is one of my favorite, low-carb quiche recipes.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3-4 slices of bacon
    6 eggs
    1 cup of heavy cream
    1/2 tsp of sea salt
    8 ounces of Swiss Cheese, shredded

Tips

This would be good with sauteed onions and mushrooms added; just increase the carb count accordingly.


Directions

Fry the bacon until brown & crispy; drain on a paper towel - break into pieces. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs. Add the cream & salt; mix well. Shred the cheese. Arrange the cheese and bacon evenly in the bottom of a greased 9-10 inch glass pie plate. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees, 35-40 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Serving Size: Makes an 1/8th of a 9" Pie
