Introduction

This is a yummy side dish that gives you the taste of sweet potatoes that are sometimes smothered in a sugary syrup but made healthier. This is a yummy side dish that gives you the taste of sweet potatoes that are sometimes smothered in a sugary syrup but made healthier.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Sweet potatoes (3-4 normal size about 4 cups when peeled and cubed)

    Salt and Pepper (to your taste)

    Cinnamon 1 tbsp.

    Butter 4 tbsp. (or whatever you use that is like butter)

    Milk 1/4 cup (I use 2% but use what you like when making mashed potatoes)

    Maple Syrup 1/4 (I use the real stuff here)

    Pecans 1/2 cup chopped

Directions

Peel, cube, and boil potatoes till soft. Drain and put in the bowl with all of the other ingredients except for the pecans. Mash then stir in the pecans.
