Introduction

This recipe is the base for my kale smoothies. The only thing I vary between recipes is the blueberries. Depending on what I have on hand it is either blueberries, strawberries, frozen mango, raspberries, etc. Else the recipe is consistent. I use one packet of stevia, but feel free to add more/less to your taste This recipe is the base for my kale smoothies. The only thing I vary between recipes is the blueberries. Ingredients

1 cup Kale (I use organic, baby kale, so no chopping or stripping the stems is required)
1 pint Blueberries (or strawberries, or whatever fruit you prefer)
    1 medium banana
1 cup almond milk (I use organic plain) (plain or vanilla)
    1/2 cup water
    1 tbp chia seeds (optional)
1 packet stevia (add more or less to your liking)
    1 tbsp. almond butter

Directions

add all to the blender and BLEND! Pour into 8-12oz cups

I make this on Sunday evening (about 3x's for enough smoothies for the week) and get approx. 6 12 oz portions for the week. I store them in lidded mason jars in the fridge so I can grab an go during the week.

Serving Size: makes about 2 12oz smoothies
