Introduction

This is a very quick sauce, and it comes out right every time. An old family recipe. This is a very quick sauce, and it comes out right every time. An old family recipe.

Ingredients

    3 Cans 28oz.Crushed Tomatoes, No Basil/Garlic Added
4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
    1 Tbsp Onion Powder
    1 Tbsp Rosemary, Dried
    2 Tbsp Basil, Dried
    2 Dash Ground Black Pepper
    3 Tbsp Honey

Tips

If you want this can be used for a meat sauce as well. You just have to brown a pound of hamburger in the pot first, then add the ingredients as described above. The only real difference is the Rosemary and Basil go from being regular Tablespoons to heaping ones.

Directions

First grind all dried ingredients, and then literally throw all the ingredients into a 5Qt. Pot and start cooking on high, once it begins to simmer lower flame to medium low setting, just to keep the spatter down. Stir regularly until the sauce is thick enough to please you.
