Ingredients
Ingredients:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Garlic, 3 cloves, diced
Shallots, 2 tbsp, sliced in fourths (take 2 shallots slice in fourths)
Tobasco Garlic Pepper Sauce(1 tsp 5mL), 1 tsp
Sweet Cooking Rice Wine, 1 tbsp
Kikkoman Manjo Aji-Mirin Sweet Cooking Rice Seasoning, .5 tbsp
Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp
Tofu, fried, 10 oz, found in specialty stores, cubed
Radishes, .5 cup slices
Rice Noodles, .5 cup, follow instructions to prepare for stir fry
*Snow Peas, fresh, 2 cups, rinsed
Egg, 2 large
Tips
Let the radishes and snow peas stay firm so that they are enjoyable to eat.
You can pre-fry your own tofu but buying it fried is really easy to make this meal come together in a matter of minutes.
You can make this vegetarian by using a soy sauce substitute, otherwise it's vegetarian friendly. :)
Directions
Add the oil to a large skillet or wok
Heat to medium/high
Add garlic and saute
Add shallots (leaving them in chunks, don't separate them)
Heat one minute
Add all sauces/sugar to wok, turn heat down to medium
Add tofu and continue cooking for 5 minutes
Now add radishes and rice noodles
Cook one minute, add snow peas
Make a circle in the middle or on the side to scramble your eggs
Stir into the rest of food and serve when heated to your liking.
Serving Size: Great for lunch, serves 4-5
