Number of Servings: 35

Ingredients

    2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 shortening
    5 TBSP. Cocoa Powder
    1/2 tsp. Salt
    1 tsp. Vanilla
    3 cups Quick oatmeal, dry
    1 cup Fine Coconut

Tips

Use 1 and 3/4 cup of sugar.
Can add 1 cup of chopped walnuts, or crushed candy Canes.


Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients in pot and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add oats and coconut. MIx Well. Cool and spoon onto waxed paper. Let Harden. Must be 1-2 hours old before serving.
