Ingredients

    8 Slices Asparagus
    4 Slices Bacon
    1 TBSP Ghee (clarified butter)
    Onion powder
    Garlic powder
    Pepper


Tips

If you can't find ghee at your store, clarify your butter by warming it, then straining it through cheesecloth. The removal of the dairy fat allows the ghee to cook at much higher temperatures than butter.


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut bacon pieces in half and, at a 45 degree angle, wrap the asparagus (it's ok if the tips peak out). Heat your pan to pretty hot, then add the ghee and the asparagus spears. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper (you don't need salt because the bacon is salty). Sautee until the bacon is crisp and serve.
