Directions
1) Chop broccoli, onion, and garlic
1a) Spray a non stick pan with cooking spray and bring to medium heat. Have about a cup of water near pan (water will aid on caramelizing). Cook onion and garlic first for about five minutes or until the caramelize process starts.
1b) Add broccoli, cover and saute for another five minutes stirring frequently using more water if needed to continue the process
** Use the water in the hot pan dribbles at a time to create the caramelizing process.
2) Spray crock pot with non stick spray
3) Add one cup of Imagine broccoli soup to crock pot
4) Top with broccoli, onions, and garlic
5) Add pasta on top of soup at base of crockpot (See note)
6) Top with remaining soup evenly and any seasonings (sprinkle Parmesan on last)
7) Cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or until desired tenderness is reached.
** Check at the two hour point so the pasta stays tender but firm
** Clear gel may be needed as a thickener during the last 30 minutes if pasta has not thickened the casserole enough to be firm.
Note: Add Pasta as mentioned in step 5 completely submerging and cooking low for 120 minutes then high for 20 minutes - Check at 120 if not done bump to high for 20 and recheck..... (2)Try this ---- Pasta cooked separate and added when casserole is done.
