Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 lbs. Lean ground beef
    I lb. Lean Ground Turkey
    1 cup Green Bell Pepper, chopped
    1 cup Yellow Onion, Chopped,
    2 stalks Celery, chopped
    1 4 oz can Mushroom pieces and stems, drained
    3 Eggs, whole, raw
    1/2 cup canned crushed tomatoes
    2 - 3 tsp. Oregano
    2 - 3 tsp. Basil
    1 tsp. Garlic powder
    1 tsp. Black pepper
    1 tsp. salt

Tips

Freeze individual slices in ziplock bags for easy meals later.


Directions

Place all ingredients except tomatoes in large mixing bowl. Combine with mixer, blending thoroughly.
Fill large (9 inch) loaf pan. Spread crushed tomatoes on top of loaf. Bake at 350 degrees about 60-75 minutes, until well done.
Cool in pan slightly; drain accumulated fat if desired.
Slice into 8 slices.
Serve warm or cold.
