Introduction

I like to have this on cold mornings with warm water. The digestion and basal temperature is not adversely affected. I noticed that whenever I had a cold green smoothie my temperature would drop 0.5C. I have started reading Matt Stones Eat for Heat and it makes sense to me. I was always cold - from the inside irrespective of how warm it was AND I live in the sub-tropics. You can see this was indeed a problem that required a solution. Also, there is no added sweetener in this smoothie as I wanted to keep it low carb and I enjoy the green taste. If you like it sweet and aren't fussed about the carbs - just add a natural sweetener of your choice. I like to have this on cold mornings with warm water.
