Number of Servings: 48

Ingredients

    1. two whole large eggs
    2. box of Pillsbury Key Lime cookie mix dry.
    3. 3 oz. cup of Mott's applesauce
    4. I whole 8 oz. container of Kroger fat free, sugar free thawed whipped topping.
    5. In clean and dry whipped container, I add 1/2 cup of sifted powdered sugar, and dry lime jello for a punch of flavor. Add lid and shake until all is mixed.
    6. Mix cookie mix, eggs, cool whip, and applesauce in large bowl until well blended and no lumps.
    7. Chill for 1/2 hour in fridge.
    8. Using a small cookie scoop, place a scoopful of dough into powdered sugar & jello mixture. Place lid on bowl. Gently swirl until dough is covered in a small ball.
    9. Place on parchment paper on cookie sheet.
    10. 10-12 per sheet.

Tips

If powdered sugar gets low in bowl, just replenish enough to coat more cookies. Icing adds more calories. You can take the left over powdered sugar and jello in the bowl and add small amount of milk, stir and brush over cooled cookies.


Directions

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Let cool and store in lidded container. This recipe will make a little over 4 dozen cookies.

Serving Size: Makes up to 48 or more 3 inch lime cookies. Uniced it is only 16 calories per cookie.
