Ingredients

    1 bag Dried peas
    1 onion chopped
    2 carrots cut chunky
    1 cup cooked pork cut in chunks
    10 cups water
    Chicken or vegetable bullion to taste
    salt and pepper to taste

Tips

I would also remove the carrots and a cup of peas to add back in after blending.I happened to have some pork shoulder on hand or you could use ham or omit completely.
You may also use vegetable bullion for veg. option.


Directions

Cook peas until tender in water. The last hour or so I add chunks of carrots, onions and bullion, salt and pepper to taste.

I use a hand held tool to puree and I am sure to leave it chunky.


Serving Size: 12 1 cup servings. Add or remove water to adjust servings or thickness
