Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    Cooked brown Rice - 1 cup
    Carrot - 3 small (1 cup)
    Capsicum - 1 (1/2 cup)
    Cashew / Pista - 25g (1oz)
    Chilli Powder - as per spice level.
    Salt to taste
    Oil / Ghee - 1 tsp

    Masala Powder:
    Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
    Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
    Pepper - 1 tsp
    Poppy Seed - 1 tsp

    Dry Roast the above ingredients and grind to powder.

Tips

Can be made with your prefered grain, white rice, quinoa etc.


Directions

Grate the Carrot.
Slice the Capsicum thinly lengthwise.
Heat a pan with 1 tsp oil, add Cashews and saute well.
Add Carrot and Capsicum and saute well.
Add the Masala powder - 1 tsp is enough for a cup of Rice.
Salt to taste and allow the vegetable to cook until its done.
Once the Veggies are cooked add the Rice to it and Mix well.
Switch off the stove, Now its ready to eat or pack in lunch box.
