Introduction

Made as a casserole for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Made as a casserole for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 bag Premium Oyster Crackers
    1 Stick Butter, Melted
    10 Shucked Oysters
    1-2 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
    1 tsp Black Pepper
    3/4 to 1 C. fat free half & half

Tips

Learning how much half and half to use can be tricky and it is a personal preference. Some like it a little softer (more half and half). Others like it a bit drier.

Directions

Roughly crush crackers and mix with melted butter.
Clean oysters, saving about 1 TBSP of juice.
Mix oysters, juice and worcestershire sauce together with black pepper.
Mix crackers and oysters together and spread into 1 1/2 qt casserole.
Poor half & half evenly over mixture, allowing it to permeate mixture but do not put in so much that it pools on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for an hour, uncovered.
