Number of Servings: 10

    16oz Enriched Macaroni, uncooked
    1 can pinto beans, drained
    1 can corn, drained
    1/2lb ground beef
1 C shredded colby or cheddar cheese, low fat
    3 t Taco Seasoning

I sometimes substitute a small can of Campbell's pork & beans for the pinto beans.

Cook macaroni according to package directions. While the macaroni is cooking, brown the hamburger. Drain & rinse the hamburger. Drain macaroni & add back into the pot. Add in the cooked hamburger, the can of corn (drained), can of beans (drained), cheese, and taco seasoning. Mix until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

Makes 8 servings.

    Very Good
I made this with white navy beans, because that's what I had. I used low sodium taco seasoning & a mixture of cheddar & mozzarella shredded cheese. For me, this cried out for diced tomatoes, so I added a can of no salt diced tomatoes. When the cheese was melted, I dove in and, it was GREAT! - 2/9/17

Good recipe, but needs some spice. We added smokey paprika and it was perfect! - 8/9/11

I didn't add the beans this time but it was incredibly good anyway. It's much better than the boxed/high sodium hamburger helper! - 6/1/09
