Introduction

Ingredients

    1 cup butter
    1/2 cup honey
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    4 cups quick cooking oats (can us reg oats)
    1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    2 cups Craisins or raisins
    1/2 cup white chocolate chips (dark is nice too)

Tips

You can use sucanat instead of brown sugar.


Directions

Cream butter and honey and sugar, add eggs, and vanilla extract in mixer. In a small bowl combine the oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the wet until well combined. Stir in Craisins and chocolate chips. Use medium cookie scoop to drop balls of dough 1" apart. Bake 8-12 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before removing to a cooling rack. Store in airtight container.
