Ingredients

    Marinade:
    2 TBS Mirin
    2 TBS Soy Sauce
    1 TBS Honey
    1 TBS Ginger Paste
    1/4 tsp Red Pepper flakes
    1/8 tsp ground coriander

    Beef and Stir fry:
    1 1/2 LB Top Sirloin steak cut into thin strips
    1/2 TBS Cornstarch mix with 1 1/2 tbs water to make
    a slurry
    3 TBS Vegetable oil
    1 TBS Sesame Oil
    6 Green Onions Sliced on a Diagonal 1/2 inch thick
    1 TBS Ginger paste
    1/2 cup loosely packed Cilantro leaves

    Broccoli:
    1 Lb Broccoli Steamed

Tips

Chicken can be easily switched for beef but nutrition info will change. Also make sure to cut the meat into thin strips so that it cook quickly.


Directions

Combine Marinade ingredients and add beef strips. Marinate while preparing other ingredients.
In a small bowl mix cornstarch with water (slurry). Set aside
Heat half of both vegetable and sesame oil in wok or large skillet over high heat.
Pat marinade off of beef with paper towels.
Cook half of beef in hot oil, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Put in a bowl.
Cook the other half of beef with the remaining oil for 1 minute.
Add all beef back into pan.
Add scallions, garlic, remaining ginger and slurry. Cook for 1 more minute. Turn off heat and add cilantro.
Remove from burner and serve immediately with steamed broccoli.
