Ingredients

    3 cups self rising flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 cup slivered almonds finely chopped
    1 cup slivered almonds
    1 cup half and half
    3/4 tsp almond extract
    1/4 tsp salt

Tips

cut butter into flour; add rest of the dry ingredients and mix well. Add half and half. You can add more half and half if the dough is too dry or more flour if it's too wet.


Directions

bake at 425 until golden brown -- approx 18-22 mins

Serving Size: Makes 20 regular or 32 small
