Ingredients

    2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
    48 oz of marinara sauce
    16 oz container of low far cottage cheese
    15 oz container of part skim Ricotta Cheese
    Approx 16 oz of lasagna pasta
    2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
    1 cup Parmesan Cheese

Tips

You can judge the amount of marinara sauce you want to use. I like to use lots of sauce, although not so much as to make it runny.


Directions

Preheat the oven to 350*. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with non-stuck coating. Brown ground beef, drain and rinse. Mix with marinara and ground beef, set aside. Mix Ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, parsley and garlic (substitute:Italian seasoning, onion powder and dash of garlic powder) together. Pour 1 cup of sauce in bottom of dish. Arrange 1/3 of noodles in the pan so that they touch but not overlap. Spread 1/2 of cheese mixture over noodles. Top with 1/2 mozzarella cheese. Top with 1 cup sauce, 1/3 of the noodles, the remainder of the cheese mixture and the rest of the mozzarella cheese. Add another layer of noodles and the remainder of the sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
