Introduction

High fiber, high nutrition bread from your bread machine! High fiber, high nutrition bread from your bread machine!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    12 oz. (1 and 1/4 C.) water at room temperature
    3 Tbs. canola oil
    3 Tbs. honey
    2 C. 100% whole wheat flour
    1 C. high gluten bread flour
    1/4 C. barley flour
    1/4 C. golden or brown flaxseed (whole)
    1/4 C. brown flaxseed, ground into meal
    (a mini coffee grinder works well)
    1 1/2 Tbs. vital wheat gluten flour
    3 Tbsp. powdered buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. fine sea salt
    2 tsp. active dry yeast

Directions

Makes 12 slices

Place all ingredients into your bread machine pan according to your manufacturer's directions. If using delayed cycle, be sure to place the yeast in a small well in the top center of the dry ingredients on top of the base of liquid. Use the whole wheat cycle, 1 1/2 lbs., light crust.
