Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    6 Hamburger Wheat Buns
    1 Can of Baked Beans
    1Bermuda Onion
    4 garlic cloves
    2 Green Onion
    Jalapeño (optional)
    Shredded Jalapeño Cheese

    Sauce:
    1tbs Molasses
    1.5 tbs Balsamic Vinegar
    1 tbs Spicy Mustard
    2 tbs Spicy Peanut Sauce

Directions

Directions:
First thing to do is drain the baked beans and give them a quick rinse to rid half of the liquid, then leave them in the colander to drain while prepping the rest of the ingredients. Dice up 1/2 of the red onion, garlic cloves, green onions, and the jalapeno and put in a large mixing bowl. Add the beans to the bowl.

In a small separate bowl mix the ingredients for the sauce, this assures that you can make it to suit your taste. (If you would like to make things easier, then you can substitute a bbq sauce). Once the sauce is mixed up, then add it to the bean mixture.

Depending upon time constrains, either pop the bowl in the microwave ( cover w/ a paper towel) and heat until hot OR put the mix in a baking pan and heat @ 350 for 30 minutes.

(This would be a good time to toss together a yummy salad to go along with the sammitch!)

Toast your buns and spoon mixture on the bottom bun and sprinkle with jalapeño cheese (about .75 ounce).

Enjoy!

* You can save the leftovers for a side dish or add to a veggie chilli mix! :-)
