Ingredients

    3/4 c chopped carrots
    1 c diced onions
    2 c uncooked pinto beans
    8 c water
    salt
    pepper
    hot pepper sauce

Directions

Set slow cooker on high; add all ingredients except hot pepper sauce. cook 8-10 hours. add hot pepper sauce.

    pinto beans cooked with the onions are great. i didn't add the carrots and i use ginger for seasoning - 4/2/09
