Introduction
A low calorie alternative Japanese style dumpling. A low calorie alternative Japanese style dumpling.Number of Servings: 200
Ingredients
-
3 lbs Ground Turkey
1.5 medium Green Cabbage
1 bundle Green Onions (about 15 stalks)
3 Tbsp Grated Ginger/Grated Garlic Paste
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Ground Black Pepper
2 Tsp Salt
4 packages Dynasty Gyoza/Potsticker Wrappers
Tips
This is a recipe for a very large batch of Gyoza. They freeze extremely well so line them up on cookie sheets as you fold them and pop them in the freezer for a couple hours to harden before transferring them to a seal-able freezer bag.
Directions
Chop Cabbage as finely as possible and add to a large mixing bowl. (A food processor really comes in handy here.) Slice Green Onions as finely as possible and add to same bowl. Grate about one 3" thumb of fresh ginger and 8 cloves of garlic and add to bowl.
Add Ground Turkey, soy sauce, pepper, and salt to same bowl and mix thoroughly with your hands, making sure the vegetables are completely integrated into the meat. You may let the meat mixture marinate in the fridge for up to two days.
Use a small spoon to scoop filling into wrappers. Moisten the inside edge with water and fold.
Serving Size: Makes about 200 Gyoza
