Introduction

Had a craving for gluten free pizza and the need for healthy broccoli. Heard of cauliflower crust found this great recipe.

Ingredients

    Crust:
    1c cooked Broccoli(used 90g )
    1 large egg
    1tbsp ground Flax (7g)
    1c Shredded Italian Cheese(used 88g)
    1/2 shredded cheddar cheese (used 36g mexican shred)
    I added a bit of ground basil

    Toppings included in nutrition facts*:
    Approx 3/4c Shredded Italian Cheese(40g)
    1/3c Mushrooms (used 23g frozen)
    0.5c Pasta Sauce

Sargento Chef Blends 6 Cheese Italian (40g): 129 cal, 10g fat, 3g Carbs
Frozen Mushrooms (23g): 4 cal, 0g fat, .2g carbs
1/2c Francesco Rinaldi Three Cheese Hearty Pasta Sauce: 90cal, 2g fat, 16g carb, 11g sugar


Directions

Preheat oven 450
-Drain/Press/squeeze then shred/chop broccoli
-In a bowl combine all ingredients and desired seasoning/spices. (I added a bit of ground basil & then sprinkled ground garlic on crust before putting in oven)
-Press evenly into well greased pan or on cookie sheet
-Bake at 450 degrees until browned and bubbly (15-20 minutes).
-Top like a pizza and re-bake to cook toppings. (2-5m)
