Ingredients

    1 kilogram (35.3 ounces) lean ground beef
    1/4 cup virgin coconut oil
    1 head garlic, crushed with garlic press
    1 tablespoon Mexican oregano
    1 tablespoon cumin
    1/2 teaspoon powdered chipotle chile
    1 teaspoon salt

Tips

I like to freeze this recipe in portions that I can pull out for a quick meal.


Directions

Melt coconut oil in a skillet (I prefer cast iron) and brown ground beef in the oil. Add crushed garlic and cook while the meat continues to cook. Season with Mexican oregano, cumin, chipotle chile powder and salt.

Serving Size: Makes twelve 100-gram servings (about 1/4 cup per serving)
